Question

RoboHelp 10 Position the Body?

Can one designate a position for the body of  a master page e.g. some distance away from the header as if you wanted to create a gap? Note this is for non-scrolling region purposes.

I wonder if Item 21 at http://www.grainge.org/pages/snippets/snippets.htm#content would help.

I thought I looked at that and it didnt but will look again

Update

21 from your site (nice btw) fails and in fact I didn't notice the body tag=xx  working at all even when I tried to make is 200px or pt

code that is there for the body tag before inserting anything:

<?rh-region_start type="body" ?>

if this is in fact the body code you're talking about btw are the question marks there just to confuse people?  see?  Why doesnt RH get rid of those goofy question marks because they're not w3 standards anyway right?

Hi there

You should be able to. Note that between the Header proper and the Body Placeholder is what I call "the no man's land". I'd try inserting paragraphs there. And even though it's not the Header proper, it should propagate to all associated pages.

Still unclear if this is a bug or by design.

Cheers... Rick

So far, all attempts to find out where to do this have failed.  Create margin tag in html code?  Position tag?
