Robohelp 2015 - Anchors showing up as topics in the TOC

Hi,

Does anyone have a solution to this predicament?  All of a sudden Robohelp 2015 decided to display anchors in topics as topics and topics containing the anchors as books when you move the topics/folders from the Project Manager tab to the TOC side.

If I move the topic on its own it looks fine but the anchor call doesn't work from Chrome, Edge and/or Firefox.  The page loads but it does not bring you to the anchor.  It only works under IE...  This is true no matter how the topic is moved over to the TOC.

The project is being compiled as Responsive HTML5.

Thanks,

John

Are you talking about source or output. A screenshot would help.

I have not seen this reported before. Have you tried deleting the CPD file and reopening the project? Perhaps even a machine reboot.

Hi Peter,

I deleted the cpd file, rebooted the machine and it still shows up as previously mentioned...  Note that what you see in the TOC is what you see in the browsers.

Bookmarks in topics do show with the topic icon in the TOC editor and in the output.

The TOC you see was auto-created when bookmarks get indented from the topic within a book. I manually created another TOC with the three topics and the bookmark inline and they stayed as a straight list.

So using auto-create, what you are seeing is what I would expect. You can delete the book and the bookmark and then insert them manually so that there are two entries rather than a book which will open the topic and also show the bookmark.

Also in Firefox, the link to the bookmark worked fine.

Can you show us a screenshot of how it used to be from a backup?
