RoboHelp 2017 will no longer open

I’ve been using RoboHelp 2017 for the last 8 years. I used the program all day yesterday. I tried to open it today, but received an error saying “Unable to start your subscription for Adobe RoboHelp.” I have a serial number for this product, not a subscription. I sent a message to Adobe tech support hours ago and have not received a response. I’m currently working on three projects with deadlines fast approaching. Does anyone have an suggestions other than waiting for tech support?

Edit: I also have an active subscription to RoboHelp 2026, but upgrading these projects is not an option. I need to use 2017.

@Jeff_Coatsworth It magically fixed itself without any intervention at all. I simply tried to open the program the following day and it worked!  We’ve had several OS updates in the last couple of days that probably hosed something.

Support did send me steps to perform on my computer (recreate the license file and repair the installation). I’ll keep those steps in case I run into this problem in the future. The message also included a note to say that support is limited due to the fact 2017 is no longer supported.

I have seen this happen to someone else and only Support can resolve this. I will forward this post to someone who may be able to help.

Thanks, Peter! Support reached out yesterday, and everything seems to be working correctly today.

Did they do anything at your end or was it all internal to them?
