RoboHelp 2019 Start new topic from style drop down list is empty

I just started using RoboHelp.  We have a lot of existing Word documents that we thought we could import.  When the Word Import Settings pop up opens the drop down list for you to pick the Word style for creating a new topic is empty.

This topic has been closed for replies.

I have moved your post as RoboHelp for Word is a separate product that stopped shipping several years ago.

The only reasons I can think of are that you havent't first selected a document to import or the headings in it are not true Heading styles in Word. If you click in one in Word, does it show as a heading in the ribbon?

Hi Peter,

Obviously, converting from a Word document to any of the outputs offered by

RoboHelp other than perhaps PDF, has us rethinking our "topics" list, I

actually opened the document in Word 2016 and verified what level of

headings I wanted to use for the topic break before trying to import. I

just wasn't given any choices in that drop down on the import pop up. It

imported and created a lot of topics (far more than there were headings)

and many of them were duplicates.
