Robohelp 2019 v 0.14 on W10 slow as molasses and stall while trying to move Topics in Contents pane

Hi All, I have a very simple project consisting of two Topic folders. One folder has two Topics in it. Both of these topics are less than a page in length, with embedded Captivate files. The other folder has 28 topics in it with no content. I'm just setting up the skeleton of the project at this point.

When I create topics in a folder, Robohelp places the topics in alphabetical order; a real pain as I'm typing them in the order I want them to be organized. So I go to move the topics, but can't. Just by grabbing one topic and trying to drag it around, Robohelp freezes, nothing happens for more than 20 minutes and I quit the program. 

What could be causing ths program to run so sluggishly that it is unusable?

      Thanks for the fasts reply Jeff!

      I tried putting numbers in front of the topics in the Contents panel, but when I auto generated the TOC, it still ordered the items according to the name of the topic. For example "1.2 Apples and Oranges" would display before "1.0 Figs and Banannas".

       

      As well, the numbers show up in the TOC. My process was to rename the Topics in the Contents panel by adding the numbers to the beginning of the name with a space between the number and the Topic name. So "Apples and Oranges" was manually Renamed "1.2 Apples and Oranges."

       

      So it appears that no matter how I try to "automate" the creation or editing of a TOC, I have to manually rearrange Topics?
