Robohelp 2020 on Mac, Freezing on launch

When I try to start Robohelp 2020 on my MacBook Pro, it opens to the splash page with “Initializing…” and freezes. I’ve tried opening it via the RH icon in the dock and by opening a project file, with the same result.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Robohelp and have the same issue.

not sure if this is the same as your issue

We recently ran into a issue where my co-worker's robohelp would launch and then nothing.  This was on a macbook pro running big sur.  One of our eagle-eyed co-workers found that some confirmation window for adobe had loaded with a size of 1px by 4px - literally a tiny line on her screen that blended with the groundground.  She was able to drag her mouse over it to enlarge the window and proceed.

I'm having the same problem on a 6yo iMac and new MacBook Air M2. Both running Monterey. I initially thought it might be an apple silicon problem, but I have the same issue on both devices

I can only give you the same advice, check with Support. Unfortunately for you most of the people who support the forum are Windows users.

I don't think there are many Mac users supporting the forum yet.

I think the Mac version is dependant on the version but I can't tell you what the correct versions are. If no one else comes along, I suggest you try Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.
