Question

Robohelp 2020 output selectively takes elements from customized skin

Hi all, I have a problem with skin in Robohelp 2020. I have created a skin and customized it, but when I generate an output it shows only some of the skin elements and generated outputs are different even if created from the same skin. For example, there are no all customized buttons, font color and pictures are different in two outputs created with the same skin.

Export the skin and then import it into the About RoboHelp sample project. Does it give the same problems when you generate that?

Thank you, I will try to do so.

That rather points to something you have done when customising. Was all customisation done via the skin editor?

All changes were done via skin editor and according to instructions from the official website.

Seeing a consistent issue would suggest incorrect customisation. The fact that you are seeing different issues each time you generate is not something I have seen. Whilst it could be something in the customisation, I am more inclined to think it is either the environment or corruption in the skin.

Temporarily apply a new uncustomised copy of the same skin and see what happens then.

Is your project and the output folder on a local drive? If not try that.

Thank you for the information. I've taken another skin template and with the original my output looks fine, but it doesn't show any changes when I'm trying to customize the skin. I see only the original skin template, my changes are not visible.
