RoboHelp 2022 - Setting up TFS Connection

Hi there,

I'm using RoboHelp 2022.2.22, Visual Studio Professional 2019 (Version 16.11.20) with TF.exe version 16.171.32802.2. I'm trying to follow the directions (https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/using/devops.html) to set up the connection profile so I can add my RoboHelp project to Azure TFS. Our TFS database is stored on a local server. However, after it asks me for credentials it always gives me the following error: Incorrect workspace exists in specified local directory.

I have filled out the connection profile in several different ways, but nothing seems to work. I'm quite sure I have it filled out correctly, because if I delete the specified Workspace from Visual Studio TFS, and attempt to make the connection again in RoboHelp, it (very conveniently) creates that Workspace for me in Visual Studio exactly as I have specified and exactly as it should be. Same error.

I think I figured it out. When I go to add the project to TFS, Visual Studio was prompting to check in the whole project behind the the RoboHelp app. I was expecting a Check In dialog from RoboHelp. Once I checked the project into TFS, collaboration works great!

I can't help you with your setup so unless someone else comes along, I can only suggest trying Adobe Support. See https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. The email link tcssup@adobe.com is recommended as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.
