RoboHelp 8 HTML Drop-Down Disappeared

We are converting a project from RoboHelp 5 to 8. One of the problems we have is some, not all, of the drop-down hotspot won't expand. When in the RH8 design view, the text boxes holding the drop-down text are found blank. Somehow during the conversion, the text got lost. We tried to find out a pattern, so far none is identified. We re-generated the project numerous times, no luck.

An old post by Pieter Brits (screen name as pbrits) back in March 23, 2010 dressed a similar issue. But Pieter's solution and others' suggestions didn't help solving our problem at all.

Anyone out there had a similar experience or any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

It maybe worth ensuring you have installed both the 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 updates and trying to convert the project again.
