Robohelp.dot problems?

Hey everyone,

I've got a project that a colleague is working on that seems to acting funny. The default text font for all of the topics is Arial, but for some reason, 4 different topics in 4 separate help documents are showing the text in the final WinHelp 2000 ouptut as Times New Roman. We've tried replacing the robohelp.dot with the copy that we store on our network drive, but no luck so far.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jim

Peter,

Thank you for posting your snippet 51! I've been having the same Arial/Times New Roman problem with my Help project. I used your "Solution 1" and it worked. I'm hoping that I won't have to do this with every compile, but I think it might be wishful thinking....

Does anyone know if there are any RoboHelp updates on the horizon that will just fix this problem for good?

I think the Snippet mentions that Adobe are looking into the problem. It is not possible to say what the outcome will be.

I guess you have been locked up for a while? This conversion has been all the rage!

Take a look at Snippet 51 on my site.

Peter,

I owe you a beer (or two or three)! It worked! I implemented solution 1 for the short term, and we're hoping to implement solution 2 for the long term.

By the way, what kind of "small change" and "saving as suggested elsewhere" were you talking about?

Thanks again. The next time you're in the U.S. (Rochester, NY), drinks are on me :)
