RoboHelp for Word Glossary Help

I am new to the RoboHelp system and I have been

creating a help system in RoboHelp8 Word.  I have three issues with the glossary I am trying to create:

  1. The website this help system is used for will be done in Spanish and English.  I want to add specific Spanish and English glossary words to the help system.  Is there a way to have two glossaries built into the system, one to have each set of terms?  i.e. a Spanish Glossary tab and an English Glossary tab?
  2. Is there a way to add line breaks to the definitions of glossary terms?
  3. Is it possible to add hyperlinks or links to other topics within a glossary definition?

Thank you for your time spent helping me with my issues.

Hi there

I stopped using RoboHelp for Word before the end of last century in favor of RoboHelp HTML. But assuming it works similar to RoboHelp HTML, there isn't much you can do in the way of formatting the glossary and adding links. It *MAY* be possible to create a second Glossary, but if it is, it's not likely that you will be able to use both in the same project. Again, assuming it works similarly to RoboHelp HTML, you would choose the desired glossary as part of your output.

It sounds as if you will be creating WebHelp. I might suggest that you investigate using an HTML based tool such as RoboHelp HTML to create and manage the project instead of RoboHelp for Word. You will likely find yourself boxed into many corners if you are working with RoboHelp for Word and are creating HTML output.

Cheers... Rick
