Hi,

Can anyone help me in understanding when do we select to use HTML or WebHelp outputs? What is the basic difference between the two?

Thanks in advance

    Welcome to the forums.

Because of security changes, it is now essentially the case the Microsoft HTML help (compiled CHMs) are for local installation while WebHelp is server based.

Both can be made to work locally and from a server but the latter requires registry changes that are not best practice. (Covered on my site.)
