Question

RoboHelp in Sharepoint?

Hi all,

I don't know a lot about Sharepoint, so forgive my ignorance.

We have a RoboHelp project with merged files, that is normally published to WebHelp and viewed through a browser.

We have a potential client who has Sharepoint, and is considering getting Microsoft's Productivity Hub.

Would we be able to publish our merged RoboHelp project on Sharepoint?  Would it appear as just a link, or with the TOC visible?

Thanks for any advice.

Marion

Hi Marion,

You can publish your output to a document library in SharePoint. When you link to the project start file the project will open as it would normally on any webserver. You won’t notice it’s hosted in SharePoint. I have published some WebHelp projects to SP and it works fine. I haven’t tested it with context sensitivity but I see no reason why it shouldn’t work.

Greet,

Willam
