I have RoboHelp 2020 running on my MacBook Air (M1, 2020) without any problems for more than a year. Works fine for me, but as Peter said, it's not "officially" supported/certified yet. Also, note that the current version is build for Intel Macs. That is, it runs via Rosetta 2 and is not a "Universal Application". However, the M1 is so powerful, that even with Rosetta 2, RoboHelp feels completely "native" and I tend to say that it's running faster and more responsive than on my Windows machine (which is a quite powerful one).

I'm also running the latest version of RoboHelp on a Mac Mini (M1, 2020), MacOS BigSur, and it works flawlessly.

Stefan are you running RoboHelp with Monterey? I would like to update the OS but I'm a bit worried about possible robohelp malfunctions. Thanks, Elena

    Yes, Monterey (12.3.1).

I took this up with Adobe and assumed that if you are running the latest Mac chip you will likely also be running the latest version of RoboHelp.

The answer is that the chip is not certified or tested with the 2020 release. It is planned for the 2022 release.

Having said that, it may work so you can try. If a problem comes it will be during installation or the first product launch. After that there shouldn’t be any issue.

    Your decision.

Probably not at the moment - but I would confirm that by talking to the RH folks directly - see https://helpx.adobe.com/contact/enterprise-support.other.html#robohelp for your Adobe Support options. I'd recommend using the tcssup@adobe.com e-mail address as it reaches a team dedicated to Technical Communication Suite products including RoboHelp.
And then post back to update this thread for others.
