RoboHelp V8 - TOC not showing in left hand pane

Using RoboHelp for HTML version 8, I am publishing to my local hard drive.

In the source files, I can see a table of contents, but when the output is generated, the TOC doesn't appear.

We have used RoboHelp for many many years and the TOC and Index and search would appear in the output.   In IE, I have to click the button to allow blocked content, and the TOC still doesn't appear.   It is blank in the left hand pane.

Any suggestions?

    What version of IE are you using? There was a problem with IE8 that is covered in this thread.

    There are also problems with IE 10 and up. For IE10, there is a fix, but for later versions there is none. It may be time to upgrade.
