I am using,

RoboHelp10
IE9
MSVS2010
Win7

Tried with below option,

Flash Help
Flash Help Pro
Web Help Pro

Trouble in,
Important to us: When we invoke flash help with respective topic, help get displayed with TOC and topic page, but this topic is default topic(not the expected/requested), with "Allow Blocked Content" button at the bottom. If we click on "Allow Blocked Content", it will display only above requested topic page, without TOC pane, with 'Show' button. If we click on 'Show' blank page get displayed.

1. When we are displaying content with option 'OptionConstants.CSH_DISPLAY_CONTEXT' it only show topic and it won't show me the TOC along with current selected topic page.

2. When we are displaying content with option 'OptionConstants.CSH_DISPLAY_CONTEXT' it only show topic with 'Show' link. When we click on 'Show' link, blank page get display.

3. Tool gives us facitlity to publish the Flash help, where we can choose the folder. This means that it publishes correctly with the expected folder structure. Same folder structure (the published one) we are using. and on the top of that we are not getting expected result.

4. Published content does not contain any mapid/mapfile.

5. Skin we were using 'beautiful_vista_flash.fhs'

6. When we switch between two (help)button, we get proper help topic. If we press 'Show' button, how help will know who is the parent and where is the mapfile (map id) kept. How it finds internally.

Please assist to resolve it.

Thanks in advance.

RH10

IE9/FireFox

Win7

Using -> FlashHelp

Resolved - Getting blank page and "Allow Blocked Content" issue with the help of "Flash Player Settings Manager".

All Programs->ControlPanel->FlashPlayer->"Flash Player Settings Manager"->”Trusted Location Settings”

We have added folder path of local help into the trusted content using setting manager.

But for end user how it can be done? Will it be possible to do same settings programmaticaly using C#.NET?

Thanks in advance,

Can you host the help on a web server? That way you won't have the

blocked content issue.

As for changing the Flash player, I think you may have more luck on the

Flash forum. (For example http://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer)

But I wouldn't get my hopes up. It would be extremely insecure if you

could add a trusted location with another application. That's just

asking for malware to come in through the window
