Question

RoboHelp6 Word CHM error

RoboHelp 6.0 for Word does not display information in the contents window for a CHM file; it worked in the past, but has been re-installed on a machine that was re-imaged. The Build number reads 099, but the updater finds no new updates. Can anyone provide a clue as to how to fix this? Thanks - Howard

Thanks. It's been a while since using RH, and I get a little rusty.

Highlight your existing project and press Ctrl and C.

Click where you want the new project and press Ctrl and V. :-)

If I've understood.

! Of course!! Thanks for the reminder!

Now, do you know if I can create a new project - -keeping the TOC- - based on that CHM fle?

I think the more likely reason is you are viewing the CHM on a network drive. Move it to a local drive and see what happens.

If that is it, see my website under Authoring.
