RoboSource Control not available

I am using RoboHelp 10, and when I try to add my project to version control, the only available option is RoboHelp SharePoint Connector.  I do not have RoboSource Control listed as an option.  Does this mean RoboSource Control was not installed?  Where can I look (what directory) for it to see if it was installed?  (I am not the administrator for my machine, so I did not install RoboHelp myself.)

You need to setup Robo Source Control Server.  We had our IT guy do it because there are some database bits that need to be installed that run in the background.  We prefer to have the RoboServer not on a workstation PC so if the disk crashes or something happens to a laptop ..., we have the server intact.  Plus the IT dept backs up our Robo Server.  Also when setting up the Source Control Server, you need to write down the Database name!  We are using SQL server in the back end.  I think there were some instructions somewhere.

Once your server is setup and running, you will need to give your remote connection a name.  You will need to know the server name and we use the TCP IP address because it avoids any name server junk.  You will also need to know the EXACT NAME you gave your database.

You should be able to use Source Control explorer to see the database from your client pc.

Hope that helped.
