Search and Replace not working

Trying to use the "search and replace" function....

It appears to "find"  terms....

but whenever I click the "replace" function, I have been getting this error.  It has never worked.

After I dismiss the above error, it appears to be "replacing"....

But it shows this message endlessly and never replaces anything.

Does "search and replace" work for anyone else?
