Search Appears Broken for HTML5 Output

We're currently using RH 2022.0.346 on Win10 and Win11 machines.

We recently upgraded from RH 2020. In an atypical situation, we ended up with HTML5 output generated from the 2020 and 2022 versions (some last-minute changes after we'd upgraded). Using the Search field in the HTML5 output from RH 2022 does not return any results. The Search works just fine from the output generated from RH 2020.

We just published this morning and customers are already reporting the issue. It would be great to resolve this quickly.

It was those .gz files again. They were somehow reintroduced in a new path when we upgraded. Our dev removed them and the search works fine again.

So what's the difference between the two?

Hi Peter. No, that was me too. The perennial problem child. Further investigation is that the project is working fine in staging and not in production (because of course). We removed those GZ files a while ago and they don't appear to have resurfaced.

Am I mixing this up with someone else's problem? Didn't you have this issue in 2020 and decided it was to do with GZ files?

Is the issue only on the server and locally it works?

If not and given the urgency, if no one gives you a quick answer you should go to Adobe Support.
