Search doesn't function in local version of WebHelp in Linux Firefox 3beta5

RoboHelp 8.0.2, RedHat E5 Linux and Firefox 3 beta 5.

We're getting ready to release a new version of our software, which features locally installed merged WebHelp. Apparently, the Search failed when our Q/A engineer tried to use it. This is the first report of this I've seen. I'm looking into testing this elsewhere in case it is a fluke. Has anyone else experienced this sort of problem?

The problem appears to be isolated to Firefox 3 (beta 5), when we had our testers upgrade to Firefox 4 (linux) the problems seem to have disappeared.
