Search doesnt work in chm file but it works in webhelp

Ive got Robohelp 2022.4.179 and got problems with search. I have looked in the other topics but havent really figured it out what to do.

Search isnt working at all when I create the microsoft html help of my projects. I tried to create a WebHelp to se if it would be any difference and there it works. So I dont understand what the difference is, and why it doesnt work in the chm file. Have you got any suggestions what to look for?

    It depends on certain DLLs but they are covered in the previous posts you say you have read. See RoboHelp Gems on my site. I think it may be covered there.

    Ive solved it, just installed microsoft html help workshop again

    I've heard other reports of missing components of the HTML Workshop not getting installed. Reinstalling it again usually solves them as you found. The greater challenge is finding a spot where you can still download it since it's such ancient technology now. Peter's Gems link (https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Gems/RoboHelp_Gems.htm#chms) points the way to that.

    Tried to reinstall robohelp but it didnt help.

    Under the output presets for webhelp there is a meny called search but that one doesnt exists under microsoft html help. Is search for microsoft html help depended on something outside of robohelp?
