Search function does not work in chm output file. Can this be fixed?

Need a few more clues than that. 🙂

Which version of RoboHelp?
Where is the CHM located, locally or network?
What does "does not work" mean? You cannot start a search, it does not deliver all results, it does not deliver any results?
Has it worked in the past and now does not?

What does "does not work" mean? You cannot start a search, it does not deliver all results, it does not deliver any results? No search results at all are delivered. "No Topics" is the message we are getting.
Has it worked in the past and now does not? To be honest, i'm not sure. This was dropped on me and it was something that was noticed by a customer. When we export the CHM, the default glossary is selected before output generation and in the authoring the glossary has plenty of items.
