Searching both CHM files and PDFs

Is there a tool that I can incorporate into our help system that would enable users to search both the CHM files and the PDFs?

I use ZoomSearch for various things and as well as HTM files, it can search many other file types including PDF. However, it cannot search a CHM for technical reasons and I guess that would apply to other search tools. However, don't let that put you off searching, if you will forgive the pun.
