Showing Help on all Device Types

Is there a single format that can work on all mobile devices(not just Android, iPhone, Kindle)? We have an application that can work on all device types, so need to show the Help on all devices. Please share the format that is supported on all devices.

Hi,

depending on how you want to distribute your help, a browser-based solution would be quite independent of your Device. I.e., upload the help in HTML5 or plain Webhelp format and call this from your application. Requires the user to be online, of course.

If you want to distribute your help as an independent app, you will need a separate compilation for each OS. Robohelp can generate an apk fpr Android, the output files can be compiled for other systems e.g. using Phonegap Build.

Yes but that is not ALL devices. I was trying to get Save Book to be a bit more restrictive as nothing is going to work on all devices.

Thanks for picking up that help as an app would need different outputs.

An application that works on a Kindle, on a Barnes and Noble Nook?

Multiscreen HTML5 in Rh10 will work on Windows, iOS and Android and has other outputs for Kindle etc but I'm not aware of a single output that works on all devices.
