Sort-Of Breadcrumb Trail in a Help Topic

I have some help topics where I've set up what I call breadcrumbs, but they're not what RH calls breadcrumbs...

One reader thinks the placement of the trail below the title is confusing, and I agree. Is there an easy-ish way to provide this kind of trail above the header in a help topic?

Since the title is inserted when you compile the project - I'm creating Responsive HTML5 - I think I have to manually move the trail after I compile.

Is there an easier way?

I'm running RH 2022.4.179.

    Did you figure it out @Cynthia Pao ?

    No, @Jeff_Coatsworth .

    What I want to customize are the links that appear in the "breadcrumbs" - and this is why I think what I'm trying to do is not really breadcrumbs.

    For now, I've modified the output HTML files, so I have what I want. But that's a manual process, right? Here's what the HTML looks like now:

    <div data-condition="Product:All">
    <p class="Breadcrumbs">Instructions to complete the Realtime Setup workflow: Importing Horizontal Track Configuration &gt; <a href="../InterpretTabTopics/InterpretTab-Adding_Inversion_Curves_to_a_Horizontal_Track.htm">Adding Inversion Curves to a  HorizontalTrack</a> &gt; <a href="../InterpretTabTopics/InterpretTab-Adding_InSite_Images_to_a_Horizontal_Track.htm">Adding Images from InSite to a Horizontal Track</a> &gt; <a href="../InterpretTabTopics/InterpretTab-Running_Inversions.htm">Running Inversions</a> &gt; <a href="../InterpretTabTopics/InterpretTab-Moving_Node_Lines.htm">Moving Node Lines</a> &gt; <a href="../InterpretTabTopics/InterpretTab-Running_an_ADR_Forward_Model.htm">Running a Forward Model</a> &gt; <a href="../InterpretTabTopics/InterpretTab-Recalculating_the_Projected_Well_Path.htm">Recalculating the Projected Well Path</a> &gt; <a href="../InterpretTabTopics/InterpretTab-Picking_Dip_from_Density_Images.htm">Picking Dip from Density Images</a></p>
    <p class="Breadcrumbs"> </p>
    <h1><span data-field="title" data-format="default">Importing a Session</span></h1>
    </div>

    Thanks for reaching out!

    AFAIK breadcrumbs use your TOC headings to build out the path's links - they usually aren't anywhere near as wordy as your ones.

    IIRC there are 2 ways of breadcrumbing - one is to place it in the master page & the other is to let the output preset add it at generation. See https://www.grainge.org/RoboHelp_Tour/rh2022/authoring/topic_layouts.htm for the first method. I suspect that's the one you want to use so you can control where it appears.

    Thanks, Jeff!

    I think I want the second solution, though. With the first solution, I don't see a way to customize the breadcrumbs.

    Customize? Like font and size of the text or what separator to use? You can do that in both ways I think - Peter's site shows how to do it in the first method.
