switching files from Innovasys HelpStudio 2015.1 to robohelp ...is it possible?

Good morning,
I have always used robohelp and lately a partner of our company wants to use it too.
Currently all their user documentation is made using Innovasys HelpStudio 2015.1 (site) and distributed in these two formats:-HTML Help 1.x (.chm)-Browser Help (.htm)
I would like to know if RoboHelp is able to import pages directly and then allow editing.

Just to add to @Jeff_Coatsworth if you copy/paste, use a tool such as PureText (Windows Shop) or go via a text editor to lose any existing formatting.

And, if worst comes to worst - you could always copy/paste it all over and apply RH styles afterwards.

There isn't convert chm to the new UI method. Which version(s) are you and the partner on?

As @Jeff_Coatsworth has said, the output files will probably contain a lot of unwanted content but there's no harm in importing it into a blank project to see what you get.

@Daniela23955009jjv0  So as of June 2023, you are 2 patches behind the most current version.

That's the output - I think they could reverse engineer (CHM to RH project) a project in RH2019 Classic (not sure if turning a CHM back into a RH project works with the New UI versions - check Peter's site - grainge.org), but that would probably be painful. You don't really want to import HTML pages directly, because they would have a lot of JavaScript in them as output pages. What are the source files maintained as? What about a Word export of the content out of the HelpStudio? That might be less painful to import directly into a RH project.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
