Why is a dash in the RH topic, changed to &endash; when compiled into Word printed documentation?

Do you mean that you are seeing the string &endash; in your document?

I had copied and pasted the info from Word. It was formatted there as a Dash, which Robohelp compiles (as FlashHelp or Printed Documentation) as &emdash;. When I changed these to hyphens, the compilation errors went away!
