Technical Comm. Suite 1.3 - Download Saga (ongoing)

Has anyone here experienced what I describe below and, if so, have you been able to achieve any resolution.

On Monday, Sept. 8, I purchased the download version of the 1.3 upgrade to the Technical Communication Suite. On the download software page there are three items listed: installation instructions, Adobe 9, and a Unix Capture Utility -- however, the Technical Communication Suite software package (Framemaker, RoboHelp, Captivate) is nowhere to be found. (The installation instructions asks the user to uninstall the software, click on a 'download' link and reinstall the Technical Communications Suite, so it appears that Tech Comm Suite software is required - additionally, the suite's Web page describes enhancements to both Framemaker and RoboHelp).No person, in either Asia or the US, seems capable of helping me. I spent approx. 1 hour on the phone Monday, at least two hours yesterday, and I am now well into my second hour today -- the 5 or 6 tech has just put me on hold. Does anyone know what is going on with the 1.3 upgrade

    The technical communication suite is a bundle of several products, rather than a single application. You should have Robohelp and Framemaker applications installed (and possibly something else? but I haven't used the suite, so unsure). Check in your start menu under A for Adobe (that's where the plain Robohelp application is listed).  Otherwise try under R or F for the individual products, or T in case the suite bundles them all in a folder.

    It's the same as Microsoft 365 (Office), the products are installed but no home page, unlike Microsoft Works if you remember that far back.

    I have a similar problem. I downloaded and installed the free trial of the Technical Communication Suite without incident. But I expected to see a Technical Communication Suite icon or shortcut or something - somewhere to launch the thing. There is nothing. I'm not finding any "getting started with" files online, either. I was initially excited to come across this product, as it seems it might be the perfect solution for my team. But I'm kind of lost now. BTW, I have Creative Cloud. In case that means anything.

    Mystery solved (and an alert): The Technical Communications Suite 1.3 is nothing more than a repackaging of an Acrobat 9 Pro Extended upgrade. Despite the setup document's section on uninstalling and reinstalling the Technical Comm. Suite, there have been no changes to FrameMaker, RoboHelp, or Captivate. Seven hours wasted...and I feel badly tooled, to say the least.
