Template error: can not resolve macro

Hi,

I see this issue has cropped up a couple of times over the years. None of the solutions I could find there seems to apply here.

When publishing a particular WebHelp project, we are getting a bunch of errors like this:

The publishing seems to complete normally, and we haven't found anything wrong with it yet. But it's only this project (so far) and it does it no matter whose machine is publishing it. There seems to be something messed up about the project itself, but "can not resolve macro" is too subtle an error message to help me troubleshoot.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks!

I reckon your language file is corrupted.

You could try replacing the RoboHHRE.lng with a working one as per the last post in this topic:

WH_LNG errors on compiling Web Help

You may need to delete the cpd file as well.

As always, make sure you have a backup, in case.

What version of RH? Is it happening in any of the sample projects?

RH 2015 (12.0.4.460)

We have spent the last few days basically republishing all our projects (version rev with all the software).  This project was the only one we've found with this problem. I haven't tried the sample projects, but it's clear it's not happening to all of them.
