Hi,

I am trying to use in place of .hlp output (not compatible w/ Vista) html .chm as my output for an exiting RH5x project file. When Iview the result, w/in RoboHelp all looks ok. But when I try to view this file in my desktop applciation we develop, all topics list in the left and pane, but the topic contents are blank on the right hand pane. I am in place getting a message 'This program cannot display the webpage' Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet.
The website is encountering problems.
There might be a typing error in the address.

What you can try:

Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected.

Is there something i am not including or missing in the compilation process?

TIA,
Matt

Sounds like your desktop application is in fact running from a server. CHMs were identified as a security risk by Microsoft and are best suited to the user's PC.

Peter,

Yes, we had been trying it on a network drive. works fine on the desktop install. but finding some help topics now show a list of fonts in the help topic title for some reason in that .chm file. so need to find that answer.

You've offered lots help. Thanks.
