Cut and paste doesn't work, as suggested in previous posts. Any means to get this important symbol in the project title?

    Hi @Peter Grainge  , I didn't see you standing there 🙂

Quite often people see "help" in the name an assume it's a general help forum. 🙂 Also the full version number helps with advice as it can vary drastically between different versions, so I find it's good practice to include it in every post.

As for the symbol, perhaps try the Character Map utility on Windows. If you're on a Mac I'm sure they have a similar tool.

I have no answer for the question but you would be surprised at the number of people who think this is a help forum run by robots. We quite regularly see unrelated posts. Thus when a question that could be related to some other product and the post does not include a RoboHelp version, checking is the first step. It saves wasting a lot of time on a question that is not related to RoboHelp.

Please always start a thread with this information.

    • Please go to Help > About and include the full version number.
    • If you are using 2019 also state whether it is 2019 Classic or 2019 New UI.

Is this a question about the product Adobe Robohelp? If not, please let us know which product you're talking about.

If it is Robohelp, please provide the full version number of Robohelp, including patch numbers as this makes a big difference to answers. Also, what output are you generating? What is the "window heading" you are asking about about?

Hello-sorry for lack of details, since it's the RoboHelp discussion page, I assumed you would know it was a RoboHelp question. 2019 Version 14.0.14.002. Generating pdf and chm output. Window: Project > Project Settings > Project Title

Turns out the Alt+0153 sequence works, but only if the numbers are typed from the number pad, and NOT using the numbers above the letters on the keyboard. Not possible, consequently, on my laptop. It's a significant distinguishing feature that was omitted from answers until I dug deeper. Although I was able to access a separate keyboard with number pad ultimately, I'm curious to know how this is achieved in the absence of a keyboard with number pad?

    Thanks.
