Unable to close the thumbnail in a Responsive HTML5 output.

Hi,
This is a really strange one... Currently, I am experiencing the inability to close a thumbnail image in my responsive output. I say strange, because previously this wasn't an issue.
Effectively, I have generated the output, viewed the output in Chrome, clicked a thumbnail image to enlarge, clicked the close / exit icon on the full image, and now nothing happens (the full size image is frozen, whereas previously it would close).
I am using RoboHelp 2020 (version 2020.8.34).

Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi,

I am currently testing RH 2022.0.346. In this version, I do no longer have this issue. Maybe, upgrading to 2022 is an option for you, too.

Unfortunately, this is a known bug in the version you are using. There is a ticket still pending: https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/RH-11061 

You can vote for it, so it might get higher prioritized.

    It's not something I've seen reported on the forums.

     

    Can you try with a fresh, unedited skin to rule out a customisation in the skin? Does it happen in one of the sample projects (should be available in the Documents/My Robohelp Projects folder)?

    Hi Amebr,
    I'm beginning to think this might be a browser issue (some form of lockdown / security feature implemented by my company), as all the other projects I have created and used thumbnails for, now have exactly the same issue, whereas before, all was good.  I'll investigate further and keep this forum posted.  Many thanks for your help!!

    It would seem this has been an issue previously, but supposedly fixed in the September 2022 patch release...

    The thumbnail for the close button appears blank for Studio skin. In addition, you're unable to close the thumbnail in a Responsive HTML5 output.
