Upgrade from RH 2015 to RH 2020 Shows False Broken Links on Report

Hi everyone,

I have a legacy project that was upgraded from RH 2015 (created originally with RH 10) to RH 2020 (now on 2020.4.173).  I ran the Broken Links report and received a huge list, including broken links to topics, images, master pages, js, snippets, and css.  I random checked some of the listed broken topic links and found none of them to be broken.  They appeared just fine, all links worked, the snippets were fine, etc.

Does anyone know why RH is generating these false broken links?  I'd like this to work so that I can use it for finding actual REAL borken links!

Thanks,

Lori

Create a copy of the project so that anything you try won't be the end of your world. 🙂

Try deleting all the presetsf for a start. I found in some projects that cleared a lot of broken links.

    Does that make any difference?

It would be nice if we could edit our posts and correct our typos!  😉  😉  Couldn't see a way to do that.  borken=broken, of course.
