URGENT!!! - Importing a web help project

Hi Everyone

I've been asked to look at whether or not one can import the web help output into a new help project.

The scenario is this:

  • Ongoing RoboHELP master i.e it's always the lastest release we don't have RoboHELP master for previous releases
  • We DO have web help output for each previous release but NOT the RoboHELP masters
  • RoboHELP seems to have no way of importing web help output back into a robohelp project

How might we use the web help output to reverse engineer into robohelp projects please?

Regards

Correct answer Peter Grainge

There is the old painful method but it's free.

There is a script available for Willam van Weelden. It's not free but it is one heck of a lot quicker.

Thanks all just found it as well, definitely looks the best way if it works. Our previous releases in question are Robohelp 8..

I don’t want to use the forums to advertise, but since Peter started it, I would like to make a remark on your ‘if it works’ statement (I assume you’re talking about the script.)

The script recovers about 95% of your project. Never received any complaints

If my recovery script doesn’t work for you I will either: (1) Make it work or (2) give a full refund.
