Web page link to a topic

Hi,
I have a quick question . If i link a word to a webpage and go to the view option i am not able to see the webpage . Is it because webpage will be displayed only after i publish the project or am i missing something??

Possibly. See if it works in the generated output.

I have internet all the time. The company internet works fine. After u said i tried links like yahoo and google it worked but i was tryin to link company intranets webpages. I guess thats where the problem is :(

Legend

You should be able view a link to a webpage before you publish using the preview. Have you checked the link closely for any errors, absolute paths, etc.

Clicking the View Selected Item button creates a temporary rltxx.htm file (the xx will be sequential: A1, A2, etc.), which it then displays in a separate window. This temp file sits in your current project folder, so your link to the webpage is probably not going to work until you generate the output where it should be.
