WebHelp on Sharepoint Image Issue

On my RH "Home" page, I added a new image with a shortcut to the new topic.  When I generate the project everything looks fine - when I upload to Sharepoint my image does not show up (you see the ever popular red X) the link works great, just no image.  I added the image to my Sharepoint library - I'm frustrated!!!

Hi there

How are you populating SharePoint with WebHelp? Normally the image is included in the mix of files. So it sounds suspect to me that maybe you aren't getting the files copied to SharePoint properly.

Hey Rick -

I'm opening the sharepoint files in Windows Explorer and then copying over the new or corrected topics from the WebHelp folder.  Now that I think about it - I did not copy all the files, just the new topic and the home page. It always scares me to death to delete all the files and recopy all the files.  Can you tell how new and inexperienced I am

Hi Robin

What version of RoboHelp are you using? I'm not sure how much different Sharepoint is than a normal file server, but if you have RoboHelp 9 there is a new feature for publishing to Sharepoint. so if you are using version 9, you might investigate using this feature.

Even if you are using an older version of RoboHelp, you might investigate using the Publishing feature. Especially as you say you are copying files via Windows Explorer. Publishing is very efficient and very safe provided you set it up correctly.

Cheers... Rick
