What are th Formant > Layout and Size... & Margin... options are for?

Hi. Does anyone know what the items in the square box below are for, and how to enable them? They're grayed out on my RH11 system. Thx.

Looks like the image didn't quite make it. Note that you will need to use the forum web browser interface to make the image available. If you reply via email you cannot attach an image. (Well you CAN, actually, but the attachment will be stripped and not show)
