What is the latest Robohelp version?

I am running Robohelp version 2020.8.34. I ran Help > Check for Updates and it says "New Update Available" "Adobe RoboHelp Version 2020.8.0". That sounds like an older version than the one I am running. Can anyone explain this? Should I press "Update Now"?

Hmm, 2020.8 is the last patch for RH2020. The .34 seems to be different for some people (e.g. I think Macs have a different number).

However, there is also RH2022, that has just been released. It's possible it's trying to tell you about that version and something ni the update script wasn't updated to match the new version. I haven't tried updating my RH2020; I'm just speculating. So I think either you try it and see what happens, or contact support for more information.

Thank you Peter for the link to the bug list. I see I can click on search and can see the complete list for a particular version. I see I can also vote. Very nice.

https://tracker.adobe.com/ is the list created by users. They also have an internal list but that is not accessible.

OK, I just upgraded to 2022. And you were right, clicking on the "Update Now" button does not update you to 2022. It did something, but the version did not change. I downloaded the file from the website and the installation went smoothly with no problems. I would still like to know if Adobe keeps any sort of public list of known issues and bugs though. I would like to be checking it periodically.

This will show you what's in 2022 and there's a link to the bugs fixed. RH2022 What's in Adobe RoboHelp? (grainge.org)

2022 bugs? It's only been out a week or so.

OK thanks. I had not realized there was a 2022 version. A few questions:

    1) Does anyone know if there is a webpage that shows the changes from 2020 to 2022? Or fixed bugs?

    2) Does anyone know if there is a webpage that shows known bugs in 2022?

I would email support (using tcssup@adobe.com), but our last two emails to support took over two weeks before anyone replied and the reply was just to set up a time to talk (and after we sent a suggested time it has been another two weeks and they have not replied yet).

EDIT: I found the list of new features here: https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/using/overview.html and the list of fixes here: https://helpx.adobe.com/robohelp/kb/fixed-issues.html .

New versions, as opposed to Updates, can be downloaded from Download RoboHelp (adobe.com)
