When user navigates back to the home page, the page is not found

After I click on Help, I click Search, and I choose one of the results, and go there.

Then, if I click the Home button to return to the documentation's home page, I go there, although the home page will be empty except for the navigation pane. Is this the standard functionality or a bug?
