Why doesn't Robohelp HTML10 generate printed documentation

The only remark " Microsoft Word is not started on this computer. Start Word before trying again." is not really helpful. After starting Word the same remark is shown again. Before installing Robohelp on this computer, it was already used on another one where the printed documentation is still produced without problems although Robohelp is already deactivated.

See Print Issues on my site. There are a number of possible causes. Do you also have Open Office installed?

No, we do not use Open Office at all.

Could the problem be not having registered Robohelp so far on the PC on which Robohelp does not generate printed documentation?

I don't think registration is the issue. More likely is a screwed up registry entry. First try uninstalling and reinstalling Rh alone, it is reasonably quick and easy. If that fails you may need to uninstall both Word and Rh. Not normally necessary.

I have assumed that Rh was installed with admin rights. If not, that could be your problem.

What version of Word is being used on the two PCs?

November 13, 2013

Word 2007 is used on both PCs.
