Windings symbols not displaying in Android/Ipad output display

Our online help contains quite a few arrow symbols (refer image below) to describe program menu paths.

Our documentation is authored in word and imported, the arrows are a result of typing --> (which converts to the Windings font arrow symbol you see below).

In the roboHelp HTML View it looks like this: <b><span style="font-family: Wingdings;">à</span>

The arrow symbols are displaying correctly when viewing output on a pc, however on the iPad they are displaying à instead of the arrow.

Any ideas?????

Hi, Wingdings is owned by Microsoft and is usually not available on other systems. Use images instead. I would generally avoid using such special fonts in all HTML documents.
