Is there a list of files that should be stored in SVN and a list of those which shouldn't be stored in the repository?

Correct answer Peter Grainge

I am not a version control user but I know a search will bring up a number of threads on this question. There is also something in Snippets on my site based on what a user advised.

Thanks, Peter,

I took the following informatiopn out of your "Snippets" section "Source Control" from your website and that's:

* projectname.cpd
* projectname.pss
* projectname.hhp
* projectname.trl
* ehlpdhtm.js

While this refers to RCS (Robohelp Source Control - something different than what I have stored in my mind under "RCS" - Revision Control System - UNIX ), I will experiment with this setting now under SVN and see how it works out.
