I'm creating a FlashHelp Project.... I'm curious to know what is the WYSIWYG Editor?

How do you work with it?
What does it do?
What are you supposed to see when you click on WYSIWYG Editor?

Hi all

For anyone watching this thread, I connected with LB-25 and we resolved the issue.

The issue was that the split controlling how much of the Project Pane you see VS how much of the Topics/WYSIWYG/Link View etc had been somehow moved all the way to the right edge of the application. So from LB-25's perspective, there was only the Project Pane. Once we adjusted the split between the two, RoboHelp had a more normal appearance and things were good to go.

Just another instance where pure text in Forum Posts was inadequate and seeing things first hand made it oh so much easier to determine the reason.

Here's to happy endings... Rick

I looked at the link....and I don't see
-WYSIWYG Editor
-Truecode
-Linkview
-Topics
which is located at the bottom right.

When I click on a topic, I can see the toolbar, but no text

I tried to create a new project and the WYSIWYG Editor still doesn't pop up.

I looked at the settings for the HTML Editor in the Options and it is already set at Auto Select.

What's the next step in order for me to see the WYSIWYG Editor?

Try changing that setting to Auto Select first.

Are you always trying the same project? If yes, create a new one with just a couple of topics.

Let's try again.

There are two circles. One is Auto Select Editor, one is Use Default Editor. One will be coloured and one will be plain. Which one is coloured?

I did the uninstall and re-install like LMarden told me to do, and there wasn't an option to select (To allow the W Editor as the default).

So, i'm back at the beginning, it still does not work!
