Multiple Copies of Sequence - Notification pop-ups, when I hit update with Team Project

When working with our new Team Project, my team is experiencing issues: 

1. Nonstop notifications that a sequence is updating. Like every couple minutes. It's disruptive.

2. Multiple copies of single sequence - like it's creating new versions everytime we make a change. A log if you will.
