Premiere 25 will not open large team projects from 24

Premiere 25 will not load the assets from a large team project in premiere 24. this mkes switching to 25 undoable. opening a project that was created in Premiere 24 hangs indefinetly. I have tried converting it to a project fist (which works). but if I close the team project and try to open it again it fails again.

I don't think u can import a team project into a new team project. If I make a regular project from my team project and import it into a new 2025 Team Project it works. but if I close it and try to open it again it hangs forever still.
