Team Project

I created a team project to enable remote collaboration for my team, as we are located in different states. I shared the team project and its associated clips with them. These clips are stored in the cloud and have been shared with the team.

 

However, when they attempt to open the project, they encounter an issue where the sequence appears in red. Despite having shared all the files with them, Adobe is unable to locate them. I'm wondering if I made a mistake or missed a step.

 

Our intention is not to edit the project simultaneously. We simply want the team to have access to the project, allowing multiple people to view our work and make edits if necessary.

Each collaborator needs to have the media local to their machine.  How you share the media is up to you (Via a thumb/external drive, Creative Cloud files, OneDrive, Google Drive, ...).
Premiere is only able to find the media files if they are in a matching path for all collaborators. If the path is different, Premiere Pro needs to be told where to look.  To do so, you could use the Link Media dialog that appears when the project is opened, the 'Link Media...' menu item or the 'Media Management' dialog (Edit > Team Project > Media Management...).

    Team Projects is the simplest, really. It's just the linking each user to their local copy of the media that can be an issue, and that's much easier than it used to be.

     

    It is just a bit of a different process as to how you link to media than 'standard' projects. Once you understand the process, it just works.

     

    And Udo and others here have posted several good discussions of how that process works, so look through this forum if you need help.

    They do have some documentation on Team Projects file linking, which is a bit different still from "normal" projects. It's been greatly simplified, but you do need to understand how that linking process works.

     

    Typically staffers help here pretty quick, so now I've transferred this to the Team Projects forum, I'm hoping a staffer jumps on here toot suite.

     

    My shop is being moved, all my computers boxed, so I can't jump into the app and refresh my memory before giving advice.
