Hi! i need help! i will create an team project, for me and one more editor, i have all footage on my pc and he have the footage on his pc. If i create this project, and invite him, and first time he link the footage, the project can save each footage path? so if we close and open the project we wont need to relink all over again? the goal is for him to relink the media only first time and be able to work on the same project, but we are on different computers, diferent media paths. Sorry about my english!!
Thank you!

No, you or your collaborator will need to create the media mapping once and it will remain in place when you close and re-open the app or the project.

Hi @Daniel36303961b6h9,

In a Team Project it is preferred to relink offline media via a 'Machine Specific Media Mapping ' over the 'Link Media' dialog.

Here an example I recently posted in another thread:
After you imported media,  the original file path might point to: "G:\Test_Media\All the Clips" in your environment.
On a collaborators machine the same media might be saved at a different path e.g.: C:\Users\OneDrive\Project_1\All the Clips.
Media mappings are a way off telling the app where the media can be found on a collaborators machine.
When we see media with an 'Original file path' pointing to "G:\Test_Media\All the Clips" ignore that path and look here: "C:\Users\OneDrive\Project_1\All the Clips" instead.
