Team Project import button...

Hi -

Could someone explain what the 'import' button in the Media Browser when viewing old versions of Team Projects is meant to do?

It seems to imply that you can import media, sequences, comps etc from an old version of a team project, but so far all it does it bring up a loading dialogue box and then...nothing.

We've been having issues with sequences randomly disappearing from our team project, and having to create a new Team Project from an old version each time isn't ideal. If we could recover assets from old versions, that would be grand.

Thanks,

Matt

@Udo_Pawlik  - I spotted that you're quite active in this forum, so you may be able to help?

Hi @Matt_J_Clark, you can import or drag&drop media clips and sequences from the Media Browser into an open project as long as the sequence does not contain any comps. I agree that we should bring up some informational message/prompt/toast instead of silently failing.

Thanks @Udo_Pawlik appreciate you getting back to me so quickly!

That makes sense as to why it has been failing for me. Is there a possibility of the import function supporting seqeunces that contain comps in the future?
