Team Project - On Prem

Your media is never stored in the cloud, unless you choose to put it there. Media can be stored on an on-premise MAM, or on mirrored hard drives, or using any other system where every user can access the same media in a similar directory structure.

Your "project files" (actually stored in a new format as versioned databases) are stored both locally and in the Adobe Creative Cloud. You don't need to be on-line to work in a Team Project, only to collaborate and to have your edits backed up remotely. There is not currently an option to run the cloud-based collaboration service on-premise, but access to each Team Project is strictly limited to the user who creates the Team Project and the people they explicitly invite to collaborate, on a per-project basis.
